Book 1--Silver Swan
Amazon, Silver Swan:
Also, can we take a moment to appreciate how pretty the cover for Silver Swan is? I mean this is beautiful. I'd grab this book without looking at the storyline.
Book 2--The Broken Puppet
Amazon, The Broken Puppet:
“I thought I knew who I was, but I was wrong.”
The Silver Swan
- 1. A girl who is tarnished. Tainted. One who does not fit into the confinement of legend.
The Silver Swan
-2. Madison Montgomery.
I was lied to.
I was cheated.
Resigned to pick up the scraps of empty memories and disarrayed thoughts, I left. After finally cutting the strings of manipulation, I resorted to do what I’ve done since I was a child, something my father drilled into my brain since I could handle my first rifle.
Run.
I’m a mere shadow of the girl they all knew.
Lies and deceit change you. They alter your entire outlook on life.
I’m Madison Montgomery, and I want to play a game.
Here’s what happens when I win.
Riddle me this, Mads.
What goes bump in the night,
but is something you can’t see with sight?
You may run, and you may hide.
If by happily ever after, you mean Bonnie & Clyde.
If you were shocked by Silver Swan, then be prepared to be completely spent after The Broken Puppet. This book has so many loose ends and I'm so glad I don't have to wait to get book 3, Tacet a Mortuis. I loved Silver Swan and The Broken Puppet was not a flop. I finished this just as quickly as book 1. We get answers to questions (not all of them *sigh*) and get to see a softer side to Bishop. Don't get me wrong, this is still a dark erotic romance and definitely continues with the lies, games, WTF moments, and a twists. Plus, Amo does a great job at incorporating the titles of the books into her stories. I love when authors do that and so far she is 2 for 2. As stated above, this book will leave the readers in shambles. I don't think we'll be picking up our pieces anytime soon. Book 3 looks just as complicated as the predecessors. Can't wait!
Compared to the Silver Swan cover, The Broken Puppet cover is kinda creepy and also enticing. It's different and makes you wonder what the story is really about.

About the Author:
Amo Jones is a small country girl totally winging this author thing (she's probably doing it all wrong). She likes cake, loves wine, and her religion is magic. She's a profound work-a-holic, but when she's not writing, you can find her chilling with her kids & partner at the nearest beach, with a cocktail in her hand.
New Zealand is not a state of Australia and rugby is the best sport ever played.
